MingLLM is built so the shortest answer to “what do you do with my data” is: nothing, because we don't have it. This page spells that out.

What MingLLM is
MingLLM is a personal-intelligence runtime that runs on your Mac. The model, your memory, and the tools that act on your behalf live on-device. This page describes how that local-first architecture shapes what data exists, where it goes, and what you control.
What stays on your device
Your conversations, your voice recordings, your browser side-panel context, the documents MingLLM reads, the drafts it writes, the action logs it keeps — all of this is stored locally in MingLLM's app sandbox on your Mac. We don't receive it, mirror it, or back it up. If you delete the MingLLM app, that data is deleted with it.
What reaches the network
Two categories of traffic leave your machine: (1) updates — the MingLLM app checks for new versions and ships crash reports you've opted into; (2) tools you explicitly use — if you ask MingLLM to browse a page, search the web, send an email, or call a third-party API, the request goes to that third-party service. You see each of these in the receipts log before they happen.
What we collect
Almost nothing. When you request an invite, we store the email you give us (on Resend's infrastructure) so we can reach out. When you download MingLLM, we count the download and note the platform (Mac / Windows). That's the extent of server-side data.
No training on your data
We do not train models on your data. The model running on your machine is the model we ship. We have no pipeline that exfiltrates your local memory for training, evaluation, or analytics.
Third parties
If MingLLM calls a third party on your behalf (sending an email, searching a source, calling a model provider for a specific tool), that third party's privacy policy applies to the request. MingLLM shows you the request before it fires.
Your controls
From the MingLLM preferences you can: revoke any permission MingLLM holds, wipe the local memory, turn off network access entirely (MingLLM still works), and export every receipt as a JSON log for your own records.
