The short version
MingLLM is a personal-intelligence runtime. You can install it, use it for your own work, and uninstall it whenever you want. These terms cover what we promise to you and what you agree to in return. If anything here conflicts with a signed agreement you have with us, the signed agreement wins.
Your account
MingLLM runs locally — there is no account to create. The waitlist email you give us is used only to reach you about access. If you uninstall MingLLM, your local data is deleted with it. You are responsible for keeping your Mac secure; anyone with access to your device has access to your MingLLM.
Acceptable use
Don't use MingLLM to do things that are illegal where you live. Don't use it to harass people, violate intellectual property you don't own, generate child sexual abuse material, or build systems that profile people in ways that hurt them. These are the obvious ones.
Your content
Everything you type, say, draft, or capture inside MingLLM belongs to you. We have no license over it. The model runs on your machine and the outputs stay with you.
Third-party services
MingLLM can call third-party services (mail providers, search providers, browser extensions) when you ask it to. Those services have their own terms. MingLLM surfaces each outgoing request before it fires so you know exactly what's happening.
No warranty
MingLLM is provided as-is. Local AI is a new category; models make mistakes; tools can misfire. Review MingLLM's drafts before you send them and its actions before you confirm them. That's why the receipts log exists.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, MingLLM and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software — including lost data, missed communication, or actions taken on your behalf. If you need stronger guarantees, talk to us about an enterprise agreement.
Updates to these terms
We may update this page. If the change is material, we'll post a note on the site and give you at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree with the new version, stop using MingLLM; nothing about uninstalling it is held against you.
